Locals tend to take Mt. Battie for granted and usually only notice it when the star is lit up. But Mt. Battie is visited by thousands of people each year and is a valuable part of what makes us special.
Built in 1920, the Mt. Battie tower has weathered winter storms and summer sun for many years. They have taken their toll.
On Monday, April 27, PenBayPilot.com and “The Chris Wolf Show” will host Heather Moran and Randy Stearns from Friends of Mt. Battie. You’ll find out the what’s happening with the tower and who knows what else (there’s no controlling Chris!).
In addition, you’ll hear the news from PenBayPilot.com and stories that Chris Wolf has gathered from around the web, the weather and songs to help get your day started.
If you have questions or comments for this show, please call in between 7 and 8 a.m. at 207-594-0721 or email Chris before or during the show at TheChrisWolfShow@gmail.com.
