The final countdown is approaching for the opening of the new Center for Maine Contemporary Arts in Rockland Maine.

In late June 2016, CMCA will open a newly constructed 11,500+ square foot building, with 5,500 square feet of exhibition space, designed by internationally recognized architect Toshiko Mori.

Located in the heart of downtown Rockland’s arts district, across from the Farnsworth Art Museum and adjacent to the historic Strand Theatre, the new CMCA, with three exhibition galleries, gift shop, lecture hall, ArtLab classroom and open public courtyard, provides a contemporary anchor to mid-coast Maine’s burgeoning art scene.
