Hurricane Island, in Penobscot Bay off Vinalhaven, has undergone various incarnations: first, as a granite quarrying boomtown, second, as an offshore Outward Bound base, and now third, as a Center for Science, Leadership, and Marine Research.
The show will be about Hurricane Island, its history and also about a new Bird Banding workshop taught by world-class instructors from The Institute for Bird Populations.
