Karen Brace, Community Development Director for Camden is set to be our guest and she’ll be armed with times, places and events for the weekend events which for more then 20 years have been known as “Christmas by the Sea.”
On the first weekend of December, stores open their doors and celebrate with holiday sales, and renowned restaurants offer dining specials. Festival goers enjoy the Christmas Parade, which travels through downtown Camden to Harbor Park, where it culminates with a Community Tree Lighting.
You can also see the Mt. Battie Star shining bright;ly over the festivities. On most nights, you can’t see the outline of the mountain, so the star appears to be magically floating in the sky
The show will be broadcast live at 8 a.m. on WRFR Community Radio at 93.3 FM, Maine Coast TV at Channel 7 on Time Warner, BCTV channel 2, in Belfast and also on the web at MaineCoast.TV/streaming.
