Watch this video of the presentation from the Maine Ski & Snowboard Museum of the Community Spirit Award to the Camden Snow Bowl on December 7, 2024. The presentation was made by Glenn Parkinson, President of the Museum, and was received by master of ceremonies Dave Ridley, a Camden resident , Snow Bowl Ski Instructor, and Vice President of the Museum. The Snow Bowl has remained a town-owned ski area since its inception in 1936– one of the few left in the state. In keeping with the museum’s mission to “celebrate, preserve, and share the history and heritage of Maine skiing and snowboarding,” Camden residents were recognized for their ongoing stewardship of this important piece of local history.
