Watch this Vintage Basketball game between the Windjammer of Camden Hills and the Mustangs of Mt. View. This game was played at Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport in December of 2002. The starters for Camden Hills were Ben Draper, Tom Dennon, Tim Stammen, Ryan Fitzgerald, and Jamie Davis. The starters for Mt. View were Roy Goodall, Steve Miles, Anthony Greenlaw, Ben Ward, and Keith Jones. The broadcasters were Charlie Crockett and Don Palmer.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has given another of his…heavy-on-the-revisionist-history speeches. This time, he categorized the Great Northern War–the 18th century conflict that saw the Tsardom of Russia successfully challenge Sweden for Baltic superiority–as one where Russia “reclaimed” such territories as Estonia and Latvia. As with Moscow’s claims that places like Ukraine have always been a part of Russia, this is just simply not true.
Unfortunately, I think that sometimes people are more programmed to be critical instead of praising. I want to thank Joe Steinberger and Stephen Carroll for creating WRFR. This station represents the best of who we, as a community, are. We respect all points of view and debate them respectfully. WRFR is a wonderful addition to our community. It is my hope that we will be able maintain and improve upon the great foundation that they have provided.
We hope she's getting good reception, at least as long as she is pointing in the right direction.

Vincent Gabriel’s – 11 Bravo Vietnam – A Soldiers Story Documentary — Vincent Gabriel, Jr returned from his tour of duty in Vietnam after having fought fought in the Tet offensive of 1968.
Now Gabriel, a noted Midcoast Maine musician, has committed his experiences to songs and a series of spoken vignettes. The result is the moving documentary, 11 Bravo Vietnam , A Soldiers Story. The 55 minute presentation consists of songs and spoken memories with a multimedia accompaniment of documentary footage and personal photographs.
This is a moving documentary for veterans, their friends and families, and all of us who benefited from the sacrifices they made.
