The Chris Wolf Show Takes to the Islands.

On Wednesday, April 22, morning, 7-8 a.m., PenBayPilot.com and “The Chris Wolf Show” hosted Alice Anderson and Phoebe Jekielek from Hurricane Island, Maine.

Hurricane Island, in Penobscot Bay off Vinalhaven, has undergone various incarnations: first, as a granite quarrying boomtown, second, as an offshore Outward Bound base, and now third, as a Center for Science, Leadership, and Marine Research.

The show is about Hurricane Island, its history and also about a new Bird Banding workshop taught by world-class instructors from The Institute for Bird Populations.
