On Wednesday, October 20, 2015, The Chris Wolf Show will host photographer Patrisha McLean talking about her new book “My Island” which features amazing portraits of Maine Island children.

For those of you familiar with Patrisha’s photography, you’ll know how great her photography of people is. For those of you not familiar with her, you’re in for a sweet treat. She’s able to capture the essence of a person and the moment in a single black and white photo.
Patrisha photographs with a medium format camera and does her own darkroom work. Her prints have a look and depth that digital photograph can’t rival. Her photographs have exhibited in museums and galleries across the country, including the Caldbeck Gallery in Rockland, ME and the Silver Eye Gallery in Pittsburgh, PA. They are also in the permanent collection of the Farnsworth Museum and the Portland Museum of Art.
