Virtually everyone of us knows someone or has a family member who has a serious drug addiction problem. The problem is getting worse and those working to cure it need all our help.
The Mid-Coast Recovery Coalition (MCRC) is currently raising funds to acquire 63 Washington Street in Camden, Maine to transform it into a home for women in recovery from addiction. The deadline to raise the $160,000 is January 2, 2018. $49,500 is left to raise.
Our guest on The Chris Wolf Show will be Ira Mandel, a champion of those struggling with recovery and addiction. He heads up The Mid-Coast Recovery Coalition (MCRC), a nonprofit organization created to support individuals and families to find help and healing for this challenging problem.
Dr. Mandel will explain why 63 Washington Street is a project worth supporting not only for those who will be treated there, but also for our community as a whole.
Time is of the essence. For for more information about this important project, go directly to the MCRC website https://midcoastrecovery.org/.
