Much of Rockland’s early growth was fueled by the lime industry. It’s mostly gone now, except for Dragon Cement, but it has an interesting history.

Dave Hoch was there when the last of Rockland’s lime kilns went out for good. He worked in the lime industry and knew it well. Monday, January 7, 2019, he’ll tell us his story about that great part of Rockland’s history,
