My mother had a great deal of trouble with me, but I think she enjoyed it.

Dear Friends,

As I did at this time last year, I am treating myself to a bit of downtimeโ€ฆboth in honor of Motherโ€™s Day and giving myself some time aboard RAVEN to get her spiffed up for the season ahead.ย

So, to that end I am recycling this โ€œhug from Maineโ€ from a year ago but it comes from the collective heart hereโ€ฆ.especially to all you mothers out there.

Reborn by Peter Ralston

And to you, Dear Mothers, my extra little gift for you todayโ€ฆ..three favorite lines from my lifelong collection of quotes.

I take each one very much to heart and with a good share of near-reverential humor. In my own case, I see the last two as very much related!

An ounce of mother is worth a pound of clergy. – Spanish proverb

The heart of a mother is a deep abyss, at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness. – Honore de Balzac

My mother had a great deal of trouble with me, but I think she enjoyed it.  – Mark Twain

with a hug from Maine for all of you,ย andย cheers,

Peter
