Is Sea Level Actually Rising as Rapidly as some have predicted?

Climate Change, Featured

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, since 1912 the Relative Sea Level Trend relative to land height has basically been the barely perceptible .0768 inches per year based on monthly mean sea level data from 1912 to 2023.

As shown by the straight red line in the graph above, the seal level been rising at a very slow rate and does not show signs of drastically accelerating sea level.

This change is equivalent to a change of 0.64 feet (7.68 inches) per 100 years, which certainly does not validate the wayout ever increasing trends some are predicting.

Data is at https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/sltrends/sltrends_station.shtml?id=8418150#tabmeantrend.
