Watch this video of the Maine Seafood Cooking Contest held at the Maine Lobster Festival on July 31, 2026. The five finalists were selected from 64 contestants who submitted recipes for consideration. The recipes need to be able to be easily replicated and to be completed in person using local, Maine ingredients. The appearance of the table and the food also plays a part in the judging.
